Corino-Homicide To Headline Capitol’s Final 2019 Television Taping
Press release…
Following a confrontation backstage at last weekend’s Capitol Wrestling Television Taping, Capitol Wrestling owner Harry Terjanian has officially signed Colby Corino vs. Homicide on December 29th at World War IV.
Homicide, who won the Capitol Championship in June during Capitol’s New York City debut weekend, demanded the title match against Corino, who faced off against HC Loc at the most recent Capitol Carnival event in a match taped for Capitol’s weekly internationally syndicated television series.
Corino and Homicide’s feud goes back nearly twenty years, as Homicide and Corino’s father, former ECW and NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino’s brutal rivalry instigated one of the most violent riots in the history of New York City wrestling inside the Queensboro Elks Lodge.
With that knowledge handy, Capitol owner Terjanian was wary of signing such a match, but at the insistence of his champion, the match has been made official.
