Souleymane Diarra quits Gaziantep FK by mutual consent

France Football report that 25-year-old central midfielder Souleymane Diarra has reached an agreement to mutually terminate his contract with Turkish 1st division side Gaziantep FK two years early.

The Malian international played 27 matches and scored 3 goals in 2019/20 but did not want to continue the adventure – ESTAC Troyes and Toulouse in Ligue 2 have both made enquiries for the talent.

However, since last week, Standard Liège have also been in the fight, who currently sit 2nd in the Belgian 1st division.
