Lorient knocked back for Mickaël Alphonse

Ligue 2 side Lorient have had an approach for 29-year-old Dijon full-back Mickaël Alphonse rejected by the Ligue 1 club, according to L’Équipe.

Alphonse has informed Les Merlus that he intends to stay with DFCO for at least another season, with new manager Stéphane Jobard intending to integrate the player into his starting XI for the 2019/20 campaign.
