Mbaye Niang will join Rennes on loan

23-year-old Franco-Senegalese forward Mbaye Niang has decided to join Rennes on loan with an option to buy from Torino until the end of the season, according to L’Équipe.

Niang was convinced of the move by Rennes manager Sabri Lamouchi, who told the former AC Milan, Watford, Montpellier and Caen man that he intends to install him at the centre of the attack.

The player will undergo a medical tomorrow.
