Algerian assist-merchant Zinedine Ferhat is in talks with Nantes

Ligue 1 side Nantes are in talks with the entourage of 25-year-old Algerian right-sided midfielder Zinedine Ferhat, who clocked a monumental 20 assists in Ligue 2 this season, according to RMC.

The player’s Le Havre contract expires in 2019, but HAC are demanding €5m in order to part with Ferhat, a number that a series of interested sides in Ligue 1 are currently put off by.

Despite the fact that Nantes are currently without a manager, President Waldemar Kita is forging ahead with summer recruitment, and is personally involved in ongoing talks with Ferhat’s entourage.
