Antoine Griezmann discusses joining Marseille or Lyon

Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann discussed in an interview with RMC the possibility of joining Marseille or Lyon in the future.

“Marseille, they have been my club since I was small. Aside from that, I felt close to Lyon, because it was closer [to where I am from] and when they had Sonny Anderson, Juninho and then Benzema. But yes, as a youngster, it was Marseille. I remember, I had the gold shirt (1999 edition). I went to the Velodrome one time with a friend and my parents. It was great. Today, I think that the most beautiful stadium is Lyon’s. The atmosphere is truly great.”

On joining Marseille:

“Maybe later, but not for the moment. It is not my main aim.”
