A doctor from Kerala has quit from the Indian Medical Association’s (IMA) national standing committee over its stand on the detainment of Dr Omar Salim in Jammu & Kashmir. However, the IMA has condemned his stand and said that a team of IMA will be in Kashmir in the coming week to meet the detained doctor to find out the real facts of the matter, reported TNN.

The doctor had been quite upset over the silence of the committee and its stand.
