Couple Held For Duping Woman Of Rs 3.80 Lakh On Pretext Of Giving Loan At Cheap Rates
Delhi Police has arrested a 40-year-old man for allegedly duping a woman of Rs 3.80 lakh on the pretext of providing her loan at cheap rates from a nationalised bank, the police said. The fraud was carried with the help of a cheque signed by the complainant.
The incident occurred last month when a woman, the resident of West Delhi, approached police with a complaint about an unauthorised withdrawal of Rs 3.80 lakh from her saving bank account.
