Zenit Kazan close to Russian title

Zenit Kazan won also final game no. 2 without any problems against Belgorod. Winner of regular season put their hands close to the Superleague trophy.

 

 

The first match point of Kazan will be available next Thursday in game 3. Service was again the weapon more for the hosts who made 8 aces (3 each for Apalikov and Stanley, only 13 errors total) against only 2 aces of Lokomotiv Belgorod. In the team of Belgorod only Muserskyi played good game (50% in the attack, four blocks and an ace, only one error overall) while the Zenit stands with well balanced distribution of attacks (18 attacks for Stanley and Tetyukhin, 16 from Panteleymonenko). Very well played also the middleblockers of Kazan (78% in attack for Apalikov, 60% for Abrosimov).
