No Mention Of Lesnar During Monday’s RAW, Next Week’s RAW Segment

Dave Meltzer pointed out during a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program that there was no mention of Brock Lesnar during last Monday night’s RAW. Lesnar appeared at UFC 226 this past Saturday night and shoved new UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier, teasing a future fight between the two real-life friends. Lesnar also put himself back in the USADA drug-testing pool last Tuesday, making him eligible to fight again for the UFC on or after January 8th, 2019. Despite the UFC appearance fitting perfectly with WWE’s storyline about Lesnar wanting to leave the company for the UFC, there was not a single mention of Lesnar on RAW, which Meltzer noted must mean that “something’s up” and that something has to have changed regarding the company’s relationship with Lesnar in the past week.
Next week’s RAW, which is The Extreme Rules Fallout Episode will feature Sasha Banks and Bayley giving a post-counseling update to RAW General Manager Kurt Angle. No word yet on why Dr. Shelby was not used during last Monday night’s episode of RAW but the storyline is that he sent an “aide” to work with Banks and Bayley. WWE recently filed to trademark the “Dr. Shelby” name but we don’t know if that had something to do with actor Michael Aspinwall not being used last Monday night on RAW.
