All In Reportedly Sells Out in Thirty Minutes, Meltzer Responds

Over the past few months, Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks have been planning a major independent wrestling event that they have been calling “All In.” The Bullet Club members are literally building the show up as the biggest independent wrestling event of all time as they are aiming to fill an arena with over 10,000 fans. Rhodes announced earlier this year that All In will be taking place in the Sears Centre in Chicago, Illinois, but fans still had doubts over whether or not the goal was an obtainable one. Some of the biggest independent wrestlers on the planet today will be taking part in the show, and it looks like Cody and the Bucks have truly managed to achieve the impossible.

Tickets for All In officially went on sale earlier today, and reports have suggested that the boys certainly did not have any issues when it came to selling them. In fact, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet confirmed that the event sold out in just about thirty minutes. There are currently no more tickets available to purchase for the show whatsoever. Furthermore, PWInsider and several other reports have all been able to verify that the event has been completely sold out. Not only were Rhodes and the Bucks able to sell over 10,000 tickets, but the fact that they were able to do so in such a short amount of time is definitely a major victory for them and their self-financed show.

Fans may recall that the cause for the All in show all started with a tweet from the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer. After telling a fan that Ring of Honor would not be able to sell out an arena “any time soon,” Cody Rhodes was motivated to prove Meltzer wrong. Ever since the fall of last year, Rhodes and The Young Bucks have been planning the All In event. Now that there does appear to be at least 10,000 fans attending All In later this year, Meltzer sent out a tweet wherein he congratulated Rhodes and The Bucks on accomplishing such a huge feat. After several months of planning, the biggest independent wrestling show in history will take place when All In emanates from Chicago, Illinois on September 1st.
