Rockstar Spud Gone from Impact, Emma on Her Release, 25th Guests
A ton of wrestlers and backstage officials have left Impact Wrestling this year, and another name can be added to the long list. According to PWInsider, Rockstar Spud is no longer working with the company, and Pro Wrestling Sheet claims that Spud asked for his release from the company. It appears that Spud may have actually left the company about 2-3 weeks ago due to a “business decision.” No word on what Spud plans to do with his career now that he is gone from Impact, though Ryan Satin has reported that WWE is interested in either recruiting Rockstar Spud as a member of 205 Live, or as a wrestler on their planned weekly series in the United Kingdom.
I know there’s been interest from WWE in signing Spud for 205 Live once he‘s available, or the UK show if it happens.
Wouldn’t shock me to see him land there. https://t.co/haZpMeWzjn

Tons of fans were shocked to learn that Emma had been released from her contract with WWE yesterday. Numerous figures in the industry voiced their reactions on the Australian wrestler’s WWE departure after the news broke. Luckily, Emma has seen all of the positive messages sent her way, and it appears as though she is not through with her the wrestling business just yet. She tweeted recently “I feel very fortunate to have the most amazing family, friends and fans in the world! I am excited for the future. The best is yet to come!” Emma has vowed to create a new start for herself, and hopefully, she will able to do just that after her 90-day no-compete clause with WWE expires.

WWE announced that they will be hosting their historic 25th anniversary Raw show in January 2018 yesterday. The show will be broadcasted from two different locations: the Barclays Center and the Manhattan Center, and the show will feature appearances from Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker. PWInsider has learned that local advertisements for the show are also promoting appearances from Mick Foley, Bret Hart, and Ric Flair. All three of those names have had plenty of memorable moments on Raw, so it would make sense for them to be featured on the show in some way once it premieres on January 22nd.
