Report: Roman Reigns to Challenge for the IC Title?

The following are just rumors until plans pushes through:
According to an unconfirmed report, with Braun Strowman injured and sidelined, WWE is planning a storyline with that may involve Roman Reigns going after the IC Title as a way to keep him out of the Universal Title picture until at least for the next six months or so.
The original idea, before Braun Strowman had an unfortunate injury, was for Reigns to feud with The Miz, then he would win the Intercontinental Title down the line from Dean Ambrose at Extreme Rules. However, it’s now possible that the Reigns/Miz match-up could happen for that PPV as the event appears to be lacking major main event calibre match-ups with Brock Lesnar not scheduled.

If this happens, WWE will likely have The Miz win the IC Title from Dean Ambrose on an upcoming Raw.
