WWE Reportedly Signs Former Comedian Turned TV Host & Wrestling Announcer
It looks like WWE has made a new signing this week.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com was first to report the news on Sunday that WWE has apparently signed Jonny Loquasto.
Loquasto is a pro wrestling broadcast team veteran best known for his recent work as one of the lead announcers for the Championship Wrestling from Hollywood independent pro wrestling promotion.
He has also worked in the television business as the host of AXS TV’s AXS Live Standup series, as he also has a decorated comedy background in his career.
Sunday, April 14th actually marks the final CHW taping for Loquasto, according to the aforementioned PWInsider report.
WWE has yet to confirm or deny the news. We will keep you posted as more information becomes available.
