Updated Brackets For 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag-Team Classic Tournament

On Wednesday night’s episode of NXT TV on the WWE Network, the 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag-Team Classic Tournament took shape with the opening round matches taking place.

WWE.com posted the following update on the brackets for the ongoing tourney:

2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic bracket

The fourth Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is in full swing following an action-packed First Round.

The opening round, which took place on March 6, saw Aleister Black & Ricochet defeat Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel, The Forgotten Sons beat Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch, Moustache Mountain topple The Street Profits, and #DIY upend The Undisputed ERA’s Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish.

Tournament action continues next Wednesday with the following Semifinal Matches:

* Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) vs. The Forgotten Sons
* Aleister Black & Ricochet vs. #DIY (NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano)

The team that wins this year’s Classic will earn not only the prestigious Dusty Cup, but also a title opportunity against NXT Tag Team Champions The War Raiders at TakeOver: New York on Friday, April 5.
