– This past Monday’s edition of WWE RAW ended up doing a 3.5 cable rating with hours of 3.41 and 3.67 according to data compiled by Nielson Media Research.

– WWE has been taping new show openings and other video in High Definition in preparation for the upcoming switchover. It is believed that Friday Night SmackDown will begin airing in High Definition on the CW Networking starting in January and RAW will follow a few months later. USA HD and Sci-Fi HD should be launching very soon.

– While Kristal claimed in her blog that she was released from WWE because she did not want to do a “morally degrading” storyline, it is believed that Vince McMahon had actually made his mind up to fire her several months before the angle with Teddy Long played out. When Long went down with the “heart attack” angle the company felt that it was the best time to let her go.
