Tuesday night’s Great American Bash edition of NXT averaged 654,000 viewers on the USA Network, up 2.8 percent from the previous week.

The show faced very tough competition in the form of game one of the NBA Finals, which averaged 6.89 million viewers and aired against the second hour of NXT. The first hour had competition from NBA pre-game programming on ABC that also averaged over four million viewers. America’s Got Talent also averaged nearly seven million viewers on NBC airing opposite NXT.

Still, other special NXT episodes in the past, even with competition, have seen a much larger viewership increase. In the 18-49 demo, NXT was up 38.5 percent from last week, drawing a 0.18 rating. That has to be considered a good number, given the competition.

It’s the ninth straight week that NXT has failed to surpass 700,000 viewers or a 0.20 rating in the demo. That’s significant as the show is now routinely doing less numbers in both categories than when it was on Wednesdays running head-to-head with AEW Dynamite.

As compared to the same week last year, NXT was down 13.8 percent in viewers and down 10 percent in the 18-49 demo.

Here’s a look at the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo numbers for NXT, along with the 10-week average in both categories prior to this week:
