NJPW Best of the Super Juniors Results (Day 14): B Block Finals
NJPW Best of the Super Juniors
Day 14 Results – B Block Finals
June 3, 2019
As the 2019 Best of the Super Juniors winds to a close, the stars of the B Block compete one final time this morning, as New Japan Pro-Wrestling returns to the ZIP Arena in Okayama, Japan.
In the show’s main event, the two remaining B Block point leaders will go head-to-head as the “Funky Weapon” Ryusuke Taguchi battles the “Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay, in a rematch from the 2016 Best of the Super Juniors Finals! It was Ospreay who came away with the victory the last time these two headlined a major event, but Taguchi Japan’s fearless leader has been having the unexpected comeback performance of a lifetime over the past three weeks.
The real question is – will it matter? While the winner of the B Block has just as good a chance as anyone, on Wednesday at the Super Juniors Finals, he will have to face off against the still-undefeated Shingo Takagi, who spent the A Block with a record-breaking 18 points, and remains unbeaten in a New Japan ring.
