New Japan Pro-Wrestling has announced the lineup for the annual Best of the Super Juniors tournament. This year’s tour will see 15 shows kicking off at the Sendai Sunplaza Hall on Monday, May 13th culminating in the tournament finals on June 5th at Sumo Hall.

Kevin Kelly announced on Twitter this afternoon that every single one of the events will feature live English commentary on NJPW World, which means he’ll be in Japan for the entire three-week stretch of the tour.

We can now officially confirm that this will be the biggest Best of the Super Juniors tournament in history. WIth 20 competitors confirmed (including a mystery “X” to be revealed later) BOSJ is now just as large as the G1 Climax, it’s heavyweight counterpart that takes place later in the summer.

This year’s tour will see returning legends such as Tiger Mask, making his astonishing 18th consecutive appearance in the tournament, and Ryusuke Taguchi making his 14th consecutive appearance.

All of the in-house talent from last year will return, including Will Ospreay, who was questioning for this Best of the Super Juniors for the first time because there has been a lot of talk of him moving up to the heavyweight division.
