Just minutes before the biggest show of the year is set to start, PWInsider.com is reporting that “the word backstage” is that the 16-time world champion will indeed be added to Kurt Angle’s retirement match… just not as his opponent. Angle is still scheduled to face Baron Corbin, despite an insane amount of negative feedback from the fans, and Cena will reportedly be added to the bout as the special guest referee.
