Tessa Blanchard Officially Signs with Impact Wrestling, Names Backstage at Redemption, Former Star Returning?

Impact Wrestling has announced the following:

Tonight at Redemption, the newest Knockout to sign with IMPACT Wrestling was live on commentary. Tessa Blanchard couldn’t help herself and joined Josh Mathews and Don Callis during the Taya Valkyrie vs. Kiera Hogan match.

Tessa is the daughter of Tully Blanchard and is poised to take the Knockouts Division by storm and has hit the ground running.

Impact Wrestling will be kicking off this week’s TV tapings tonight at the Impact Zone in Orlando, FL. The company will be taping TV throughout the week, and we will have complete spoiler results from night one of the tapings later tonight.

According to PWInsider.com, Konnan was backstage at last night’s Redemption PPV helping out with the show, despite the story line announcement that he had been ‘taken out’ earlier in the night.

Also backstage at Redemption was Sonjay Dutt, who was working in a creative capacity, and former Impact star Grado, who will likely be returning to Impact TV at this week’s tapings.

In a final taping note, PWInsider is reporting Austin Aries is only scheduled to work two of the taping nights this week.
