– Ciampa came back out. This time the crowd was given a few hundred Gargano signs to hold up. They did the exact same thing with him trying to cut a promo but the crowd booing him out of the building, and eventually he just left without saying a word. This may have been a redo of the earlier segment?

(8) Dakota Kai def. Lacey Evans

– Shayna Baszler came out and tried to murder Dakota Kai just for fun. Ember Moon made the save and chased her off. The match is officially announced: it will be Baszler vs. Moon for the title, one final time at NXT Takeover: New Orleans. After the announcement they go back to fighting and this time it’s Kai who saves the champion, and Moon hits the Eclipse to leave the MMA fighter laying.

– The Undisputed Era came out to attack Dunne which eventually led to the DQ finish. Roderick Strong, who apparently has respect for Dunne now after their title match, came out to even the odds and help the champion.

– It’s contract signing time. Aleister Black is out first with William Regal already in the ring. Zelina Vega came out representing the NXT Champion but was attacked by Candice LeRae.
