Who Advanced On Tonight’s WWE Mixed Match Challenge?, Rusev Addresses Absence on Rusev Day

Tonight’s edition of WWE Mixed Match Challenge saw Charlotte Flair & Bobby Roode taking on the combo of Nia Jax & Apollo (Crews). After a hard fought match, WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte & WWE United States Champion Bobby Roode were victorious and will be moving on to the semi-finals of the WWE Mixed Match Challenge.

Rusev Addresses Absence on Rusev Day

Rusev & Aiden English have been noticeably absent from Smackdown Live for the second week in a row. This is extremely odd, considering how immensely popular the duo have been with the crowd, with Rusev Day chants being heard on both shows, and at time drowning out other matches. Additionally, Rusev & Lana were victorious on the WWE Mixed Match Challenge last week, so it’s interesting to not see a follow up regarding their win, on Rusev Day of all days.

Rusev took to Twitter to address his absence, along with Lana’s, and he says that the chants are “DULY” noted.
