Ahead of their match tonight on Smackdown Live, Sami Zayn was once again questioned about his upcoming match with his best friend Kevin Owens to determine a new number one contender for AJ Styles’ WWE Championship. Zayn was asked how this affects their friendship, and Zayn angrily said that people have been trying to do this all week and put a wedge between he and Kevin Owens. He says that this is simply an opportunity for them both, and that this is his time to seize that opportunity, even if it is stepping over Owens.

Lana Undergoes Intense Training Before Mixed Match Challenge Match

The Bulgarian Brute, Rusev and The Ravishing Russian, Lana are a real life husband and wife team who are teamed up in the Mixed Match Challenge, which airs every Tuesday night after Smackdown Live on Facebook Watch. Rusev & Lana are slated to face off against the team of Bayley & Elias next week, and in the wake of their upcoming match, Rusev has taken the liberty of training his wife to get in prime fighting shape.

As we all know, Lana has not really been seen in the ring since her program with Naomi several months ago, so it will be interesting to see how her skills have improved since then.
