Asuka Confirmed for Raw, Nikki Bella Segment Taped, TLC News
After surrendering the NXT Women’s Championship recently in favor of joining the main roster, fans have been wondering just where Asuka will end up once she is healed up from her collarbone injury. PWInsider and Pro Wrestling Sheet both reported that she is scheduled to join Raw once she is good to go. On the most recent edition of Raw, the announce team revealed that Kurt Angle managed to sign Asuka to the red brand after all, and they aired a vignette hyping up her eventual arrival. There is currently no confirmed word as to when Asuka will be joining Raw, but some reports have mentioned that the TLC pay-per-view next month would be the earliest time that she is expected back.

Speaking of TLC, WWE put out an advertisement for the Raw pay-per-view, and it seemed to be missing quite a few noticeable names from the lineup. While most of the top talents on Raw are being advertised for the show, it appears as though Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, and Braun Strowman, as well as John Cena are not being advertised for TLC. John Cena may be getting ready to leave once again in order to complete some film commitments that he has lined up, and Lesnar is expected to miss the show due to his limited schedule. On the other hand, injured wrestlers Bayley and Samoa Joe are being advertised for the show next month.
It was reported earlier today by PWInsider that Nikki Bella was backstage and in attendance for last night’s Raw show in Anaheim. She did a segment with Titus Worldwide not long before the show began. However, Nikki Bella did come out in front of the crowd for a segment. The non-televised segment saw Nikki and her Dancing with the Stars partner Artem Chigvintsev film a quick segment. The footage will likely be aired as part of the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars next week. Nikki announced that she would be joining the show earlier this week, and the show will return to ABC next Monday night on September 18th. It will be going head-to-head with Raw.
