Backstage News on WWE Filming This Weekend’s ‘Supershow’ & Future Live Events Airing on the WWE Network

According to an online report by PWInsider.com, WWE is possibly looking at trialing the addition of WWE Live Events on the WWE Network.

This past Sunday saw a mega live event show featuring the rosts of both WWE’s Raw and SmackDown Live rosters take place in Boston, which was filmed, with WWE testing out a smaller production company that don’t need to use the normal production trucks that take up tons of space.

This test has apparently taken place to prepare for WWE trialing adding more content on the WWE Network which would allow the company to increase the monthly fee to $15, rather than the current $9.99.

WWE would be looking to add more content, with major super shows like this being an example, and the upcoming Starrcade event being another. Rumors of the increased or tiered pricing structure have been around for a while, with other ideas such as having independent wrestling content like PROGRESS and EVOLVE added also being speculated.
