Chennai Super Kings vs Gujarat Titans, IPL 2023 Final Weather Report: As the eyes of the cricketing world zero in on the much awaited Indian Premier League final between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings at Ahmedabad, the weather gods had other plans.
Just before the toss, rain started pouring in the venue and delayed the toss considerably. The match ultimately did not end up happening on Sunday and was moved to the reserve day i.e. on Monday.
As per the rules due to the match not starting by 12:06am cut-off time, which would have at least allowed five-overs per-side contest, it was ultimately shifted to the next day.
On Monday, there is a prediction of a thunderstorm around 5 PM IST but unlike yesterday it is not expected to last long.

The final match is between the same two teams who featured in the opening day of the tournament as the league comes full circle on Monday.
CSK are among the most successful teams in IPL history, having won the title four times. But GT are also no pushovers, the defending champions are looking to become the first team to win back-to-back IPL titles.
Interestingly, in 9 out of 12 finals since 2011, the side which has emerged victorious in qualifier 1 has gone on to win the final as well. Hence, history favours CSK.
MS Dhoni, captain of CSK and one of the greatest batters in the tournament’s history, will be looking to lead his team to victory in the final. This will be CSK’s 10th appearance in the final, and if they manage to win it, then they will be level with Mumbai Indians, who have five titles.
