The magazine affirms that BVB’s General Manager Hans Joachim Watzke and Sporting Director Michael Zorc are united in their belief that the French teenager should be a priority for them.
Under contract with Rennes until 2022, Lucien Favre’s club are willing to pay between €50m to €60m for the Frenchman in summer, according to the report.
BVB intend on using the same playbook that enabled them to beat competitors to the signing of Erling Braut Haaland last month: provide the Frenchman with a discreet visit of their training facilities, promise him considerable playing time, and show Camavinga a video of Dortmund’s fans and their most incredible TIFOs. When you marry that with the fact that Rennes have a good relationship with their colleagues at Dortmund, having done business back in 2016 as SRFC sold Ousmane Dembélé, a deal is eminently plausible.
