Ezequiel Lavezzi turns down Chelsea & Manchester United

Recently departed from PSG, attacking midfielder Ezequiel Lavezzi revealed in his unveiling press conference at Chinese side China Hebei Fortune that he rejected offers from Chelsea, Manchester United and Inter Milan.

Lavezzi had the following to say:

“The plan for development of this club interests me. It is one of the reasons that pushed me to join the club, alongside the finances. I am fascinated by Chinese club. The player here is an interesting challenge. That is why I came here. I could have signed for Inter, Chelsea or Manchester United. But I took a decision to leave for China. It is an important decision in my career. The national team? Yes, it is probable that that is finished. But I have already taken the decision to play here. So now I will give everything for my club.”
