Finn Balor Makes Surprise Appearance At NXT UK Takeover, Wrestles Former Protégé Jordan Devlin

While the “Kiwi Buzzsaw” Travis Banks was originally advertised to face Jordan Devlin at today’s big NXT UK Takeover special in Blackpool, England, a pre-match assault from the infamous Irish villain ultimately wrote his opponent out of the match.

Luckily for the crowd in attendance, and all of us watching at home, NXT UK General Manager Johnny Saint had a feeling Devlin might pull something like this and was prepared for his antics. While Banks was unable to perform, Saint brought out a massive “Plan B” in the form of… FINN BALOR!?

Yes indeed, the WWE RAW Superstar made his return home to the UK to a thunderous reaction from the English fans, as Balor squared off again his very own creation — Jordan Devlin, the man he began training at just 12-years-old.
