Former World Champion Returning to WWE

PWInsider is reporting that former-IMPACT World Champion John Hennigan (fka Johnny Nitro, John Morrison, Johnny Mundo, Johnny IMPACT, etc.) has signed a deal with WWE. Hennigan’s last wrestled for WWE in 2011, before leaving to make a name for himself in IMPACT Wrestling, Lucha Underground, AAA, GFW, and the independent circuit.

Hennigan also produced and starred in a film Boone The Bounty Hunter in 2017. Hennigan also appeared in the first season of GLOW on Netflix. No word on which brand Hennigan will end up on, or if his wife, IMPACT Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie is in talks with the promotion.
