Here’s What Dakota Johnson Thinks of Those Pregnancy Rumors

Hear ye, hear ye, people of the internet: Dakota Johnson, American actress, would like you to know that she is not pregnant.

Alright, maybe not the news you expected to hear on this fine Thursday morning, but it’s relevant nonetheless given the wave of rumors that Johnson and boyfriend Chris Martin are expecting. As Johnson said herself on Thursday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, that gossip turns out to be categorically false.

“The only thing I’m pregnant with is a lot of really good ideas,” she said. “But not any babies.” Still, that didn’t stop a slew of people congratulating her anyway over the misunderstanding.

The rumor mill kicked into high gear after Johnson and Martin were spotted at a party together at Martin’s house, where the decor consisted of pink and blue balloons.

“It was my birthday, and there were balloons that happened to be pink and blue and so then I was pregnant,” she joked. “I didn’t know that the balloons were going to be released. They were in an arch. But I guess that accidentally happened. One of the ends got let go.”

“[I got] a lot of attention,” she said. “More than just having it being my birthday!”
