How far is South Korea willing to go to meet Kim Jong-un’s demands over the Winter Olympics?

The two Koreas have very quickly been able to reach a broad agreement on North Korea taking part in the upcoming Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games, but there are countless details that need to be solved before the two nations’ athletes can walk into the stadium shoulder-to-shoulder for the opening ceremony on February 9.

Events have moved at a speed that is almost unheard of for inter-Korean dialogue since Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader, first stated in his New Year speech that Pyongyang would be keen to send a delegation to the games.

And while the first round of discussions at the border village of Panmunjom on January 9 were a resounding success and have been applauded by governments…
