Jordan Amavi set for MRI in England today

Aston Villa full-back Jordan Amavi suffered a horrendous knee injury yesterday during a France U21s match against Northern Ireland and was rushed to hospital.

In the local hospital, Amavi underwent examinations and scans, last night. They were unable to reveal the exact nature of the injury however. Amavi is expected to travel back to England today for an MRI, in order to determine the true nature of his injury, according to L’Équipe.

Many fear that he may have ruptured his ACL.
