Jordan Ferri to move to Nîmes from Lyon before the January window
French central midfielder Jordan Ferri is expected to be transferred to Ligue 1 side Nîmes from Lyon before the January transfer window opens as a “joker” option, according to RMC.
French transfer rules state that a Ligue 1 or Ligue 2 club may sign one player between the summer and January window so long as it is from another French club.

Ferri, who had also been in talks with EA Guingamp, has started just a single game for OL under Bruno Génésio this season, with a total competitive playing time of 117 minutes.
It is currently unclear whether the deal will be a permanent transfer or a loan.
