Kylian Mbappé & Manchester City – the situation

Manchester City’s spending power make them Paris Saint-Germain’s largest potential rival in the race for AS Monaco attacker Kylian Mbappé, according to L’Équipe.

With €300m to spend, the Citizens will look to build on the relationship established with AS Monaco following the Bernardo Silva deal.

Pep Guardiola is absolutely convinced about Kylian Mbappé needing to be in his squad next season, and the two clubs have discussed the possibility of a transfer, with Manchester City making a €120m verbal offer.

Pep Guardiola intends to enter into direct contact with Mbappé after the teenager’s international duty with France. If the former Barcelona manager can convince the French international of the Manchester City project, combined with the club’s enormous financial pull, it will be hard to stop them from realising the biggest transfer in the history of football.
