Mainz interested in Nantes midfielder Abdoulaye Touré

L’Équipe report that Bundesliga club Mainz have registered an interest in 25-year-old Ligue 1 side FC Nantes midfielder Abdoulaye Touré.

The interest comes as 23-year-old defensive midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin appears poised to quit the German outfit for Everton.

Touré, who was the subject of multiple bids from Premier League side Burnley last summer, is under contract with Les Canaris until 2022.
