McMahon On Edge, WWE Enforcing Drug Policy More, Divas Magazine

— Several sources are saying that Vince McMahon has been unbearable to deal with during the recent stretch of several weeks with low ratings for Raw. He’s shifted a lot of blame to the creative team for the lowered ratings. Furthermore, McMahon has been considered to be on edge due to the stress of the Chris Benoit situation and possible Congressional hearings.

— Internally, there is a lot of discussion going on saying that a number of recent departures either from WWE on a whole or television for other assorted reasons is due to the increased scrutiny on the drug policy. People within WWE think that officials are being a lot more strict and using more enforcement in the policy now.

— A special WWE Divas magazine is already available at some newsstands. It’s scheduled to be officially released next Tuesday. It features Torrie Wilson, Mickie James, and Candice Michelle on the cover. Along with the usual girls, the magazine also features an out-of-character Cherry, and surprisingly, Lilian Garcia. The photoshoot took place a few days after Memorial Day in Los Angeles. Lilian was still recuperating from her severe ACL injury at the time so it’s a bit surprising that she made the trip from New York all the way to L.A.
