Official | Vincent Koziello signs for FC Köln

Promising 22-year-old Nice midfielder Vincent Koziello has completed a transfer, believed to be in the region of €3m, to German side Köln.

The French youth star has been somewhat of a regular for Nice this season, making 15 appearances in Ligue 1, with another eight coming in cup competition.

Upon signing a four-and-a-half year deal in Germany, Koziello said, “My playing time in Nice was dwindling, and I need to play. I needed to emancipate myself to reach new levels. And although I continued to progress here, because the coach Favre and the assistants know football very well, the playing time was beginning to miss me. It’s a whole that brings me to this decision.”
