Oracle Retail Week Awards

The Oracle Retail Week Awards 2010 are now open for entries. The Awards are one of the largest events in retail and offers a platform to highlight the innovative, resilient and creative business ideas. The organisers recognise that this has been probably the most challenging time for retailers in over a decade, but is challenging retailers to coming up with inventive ways to ride out the downturn.

Chris Shearlock, The Co-operative Group’s Sustainable Development Manager, said: “We were delighted to win the Responsible Retailer Award at the 2009 Oracle Retail Week Awards. The high quality of the shortlist reflected the quality needed to earn the award, and the outcome reflected the hard work of so many people at The Co-operative Group. The recognition was a great boost for everyone involved.”

The entry deadline is October 30, 2009 to present achievements over the past year.
