Pregnant Kate Hudson Wows at Her First Major Appearance Since Announcing She’s Expecting   

Kate Hudson has that pregnancy glow! After a rocky first trimester, the actress hit the red carpet in Hong Kong for her first major appearance since she announced that she and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa are expecting a baby girl together. 

On Tuesday, Hudson was on hand at a blue ribbon ceremony at the opening of House of Harry Winston‘s second retail store in Hong Kong located inside the Mandarin Oriental hotel.

For the event, she wowed in a floor-length black gown that featured pretty lacy detailing. While the dress itself is gorgeous, not even the dazzling array of Harry Winston diamonds she accessorized with could distract from her baby bump. The simple sheath she chose effortlessly highlighted her growing stomach.

Hudson surprised fans on Friday with the news of her pregnancy in an adorable Instagram post. “SURPRISE!!!” she captioned a video of the big reveal. “If you’ve wondered why I’ve been so absent on my social channels it’s because I have never been more sick! It’s was the most sick first trimester of all my children. Boomerangs have made me nauseous, Superzoom is an easy way to have my head in the toilet, food instagrams make me queezy and thinking too much about insta stories made me even more exhausted than I already had been.”

“If you’ve seen me out and about smiling and pretending like everything is amazing…I was lying! BUT! I have broken through on the other end of that and rediscovering the joys of insta/snap. We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I’m a poppin now! And it’s too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting then just coming out with it!” she continued. “My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way .”

Now that her pregnancy is out in the open, we have a feeling we can expect a lot more chic maternity looks.
