PSG’s new Sporting Director Antero Henrique’s number one priority since taking his role officially this week is AS Monaco midfielder Fabinho, according to L’Équipe.

Henrique has even already opened a dialogue with the Brazilian international’s representatives.

The 23-year-old, who is under contract until 2021, reportedly has a €50m release clause, according to the newspaper report.

Although such a clause is illegal to enact on under LFP relegations, it gives a good indication of which region the Principality side want to negotiate a price for.

As for PSG’s other central midfield targets, a meeting between OGC Nice’s Jean Michaël Seri agent and PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi was supposed to occur on Friday but it has been delayed by Les Parisiens.

Juventus have also enquired with the player’s entourage. When Manchester City were negotiating the transfer of Bernardo Silva, they took the time to bring up Fabinho’s situation too.
