SD Women Coming to Raw, McIntyre vs. Balor, Cross Works SD Shows
Stephanie McMahon revealed last week that she will be appearing during tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw to make a historic announcement. Although McMahon won’t be making the official announcement until later tonight, the popular rumors right now seem to indicate that McMahon will either announce an all-women’s pay-per-view, women’s tag team titles, or both. Pro Wrestling Sheet has just reported that WWE is bringing the women of the Smackdown roster to tonight’s Raw show in Cincinnati, Ohio. A tweet sent out by Smackdown’s Naomi seems to confirm that story. Either way, it definitely sounds like the women’s division in WWE will be taking another huge step during tonight’s edition of Raw.

Ever since he returned to WWE, Drew McIntyre has proven that he has plenty of potential to someday be a main event star in the company. After spending some time in NXT, he was introduced on Raw earlier this year as part of a partnership with Dolph Ziggler. McIntyre has continued to show his talent over the past few weeks, but the Scottish superstar will face his biggest challenge yet since returning to Raw. WWE has announced that tonight’s edition of Raw will feature a match between McIntyre and Finn Balor. Fresh off of losing to Roman Reigns in a Triple Threat match last week, the two former NXT Champions will be clashing in a one-on-one match for the first time ever later on tonight.

Although Nikki Cross is now one of the most popular members of the women’s division in NXT, fans were definitely a bit bothered when Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, and Killian Dain of SAnitY were moved up to the Smackdown roster without her earlier this year. While Cross is still an NXT Superstar, she has been making some appearances at Smackdown live events over the past few weeks. Cross once again competed during WWE’s Smackdown live events over the weekend. Fans in attendance have noted that she teamed up with Asuka and Naomi to defeat The IIconics during the shows. Cross will remain in NXT for the foreseeable future, but perhaps these appearances mean that a call-up to Smackdown is not too far off for her now.
