Sexy Star/Rosemary Storyline? Owens Turning Face? Young Returns

Kevin Owens has been a heel since his very first day on the job. When he first appeared on NXT, he cemented his status as a bad guy by turning on his best friend Sami Zayn. Since then, Owens has won multiple championships and remained a heel all the way through. However, Sportskeeda is reporting that Owens himself is itching to turn babyface soon. Owens is beloved by most fans despite his character, so it may not be such an unwise move to make. They report that Owens feels like he can work well in the role and that he hopes to be a “Stone Cold-like” babyface. For now, Owens is still rumored to be facing Shane McMahon at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.
One of the biggest stories in all of professional wrestling lately concerns Sexy Star attempting to legitimately break the arm of GFW star Rosemary at AAA’s Triplemania. While most have condemned Sexy Star for her actions, Global Force Wrestling put out more of a relaxed statement on the matter. GFW has since uploaded a video on their YouTube channel wherein they claim that they will discuss all of what happened at Triplemania, including the Rosemary/Sexy Star incident, on the next episode of Impact. The video does seem to indicate that they will be turning the situation into a storyline. It is unclear if that is the goal, but the incident is not reported to actually be a work.

While stars such as Samoa Joe and Xavier Woods are going to be on the shelf for a while, WWE did just have one of their wreslters return from injury. Darren Young returned from a nasty shoulder injury at a Raw live event in Wichita, Kansas. He competed in a battle royal to determine a number one contender to The Miz’s Intercontinental Championship. The match was won by Jason Jordan, but he was unsuccessful in his match against The Miz later in the show. Young had been out of action after injuring his shoulder in a match against Epico back in January. Coincidentally, Epico’s partner Primo has also been cleared to return to WWE according to PWInsider.
