The segment proceeded to the point where Joe attempted to choke out Nakamura, prompting AJ Styles to run out for the save. This ultimately led to Styles vs. Joe for the title, with Styles retaining.

— WWE is holding another show tomorrow at the venue with the billed main event being Styles vs. Nakamura vs. Joe vs. Daniel Bryan. Bryan was set to face Big Cass at the first show but after Cass’ release, he ended up wrestling The Miz instead.
