St Étienne & Lille interested in Alberto Redondo (Getafe)

RMC report that Lille and St Étienne have opened discussions with the entourage of 22-year-old Getafe left-back Alberto Redondo.

The player is out of contract at the end of the month and Getafe have offered him a 3-year contract extension, but it would appear that the player is evaluating his options.

Neither Ligue 1 side have yet to make a contract offer to the player, but Redondo’s entourage is expected in France this week to have more in depth discussions with both sides.

For the moment, ASSE are better placed to land the player over Les Dogues.
