Taeler Hendrix Claims ROH Champ Jay Lethal Sabotaged Her Career After Turning Down Sexual Advances

Taeler Hendrix, women’s wrestler and former Ring of Honor star, has come forward accusing current ROH World Champion Jay Lethal of derailing her run with the company after she allegedly turned down an unwanted sexual advance.

Hendrix, 29, responded to a wrestling fan on Twitter stating, “…the dude [you’re] standing up for is the same dude that told me because I didn’t sleep with him they sabotaged me and took me off TV. That being the almighty Jay [Lethal].” She later claimed that there is an “ongoing investigation” in progress with her legal counsel, and that she is not the only one that has been effected by this, or similar situations.

The Detroit native worked with Ring of Honor between 2015 and 2017, and for a time was a prominent member of the House of Truth faction led by wrestling trainee and manager Truth Martini. Through different incarnations the group has seen the likes of Roderick Strong, Michael Elgin, Donovan Dijak and Matt Taven pass through, with Lethal as its most prominent member by far.

Silence is acceptance that allows a corrupt system to divide & conquer. I don't accept that anymore. Silence is deafening and acceptance is blinding. We deserve better. 💯✌💀

I know this is going to be on wrestling sites. My name is Taeler & this is my statement: attorneys on my behalf have an ongoing investigation. I know I'm not the only one & ppl that have known of this investigation have been supportive. I'll continue to fight for what's right.✌

Let the hate roll in. Doesn't change what happened. I came forward privately long ago & now it's public. If I stay silent I'll be part of the problem. I can't live w/ that. I'll fight for what's right. Threatening me/supposed burned bridges changes nothing. Let the hate roll in.
