WWE Confirms New Channel for Next Week’s Friday Night Smackdown

WWE has confirmed that next week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown will air on FS1 rather than FOX due to game three of the MLB World Series.

Advertised for next week’s show, which will be the Smackdown go-home heading into Crown Jewel, are both WWE Champion and Cain Velasquez, as well as WWE Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair ahead of their 5-on-5 captain’s tag team match in Saudi Arabia.

While not confirmed yet, it’s also possible the Smackdown Women’s Championship match between Bayley and Nikki Cross will go down next week. Cross won a 6-pack challenge to become #1 contender tonight, but it was not specifically announced when that match would take place.
