July 15, 2020 Off By EveAim

According to a PWInsider report, WWE will pursue signing former Impact Wrestling X Division Champion Trevor Lee.
The report states that WWE could try to include Lee in its upcoming Performance Center class in January. They have the opportunity to pursue one of the youngest X Division champs in Impact history because he is now a free agent, according to PWInsider.
Lee reportedly turned in his last performances for the promotion during this week’s TV tapings in Las Vegas, even though his contract technically runs through Dec. 31.

Debuting for Impact in 2015, Lee, 25, became a three-time X Division Champion.
He also won the Tag Team Titles with Brian Myers, aka Curt Hawkins. Along with Andrew Everett and Caleb Conley, the Cult of Lee became a premier tag team while at Impact. Outside of the promotion, Lee was a featured member of the Carolina independent scene, the Hardy’s OMEGA organization and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.
