WWE Stock Skyrockets Following Hollywood Reporter Story, NXT Weekend Notes, More

– WWE stock skyrocketed to a peak of $51.33 per share on Thursday after closing at $43.59 per share on Wednesday night. The price is back down to $49.86 per share as of this writing. The belief is that the large sudden increase was obviously due to the Hollywood Reporter story regarding RAW nearly tripling its’ television rights fees for the new WWE deal with NBCUniversal.

– NXT runs The Criterion in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma this evening with the following talent advertised for the show: Ricochet, Killian Dain, The Velveteen Dream, Lars Sullivan, Ethan Carter III (EC3), Roderick Strong, Kassius Ohno, Kyle O’Reilly, Nikki Cross, Kairi Sane and Shayna Baszler. NXT also runs the Lakeland Arena in Lakeland, Florida tonight. WWE does not list talent for NXT shows in the local Florida area.

– For this weekend, NXT runs the South Side Ballroom in Dallas, Texas with the traveling crew and the Maxwell Snyder Armory in Jacksonville, Florida with the local crew. On Saturday, NXT runs the Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, Texas with the traveling crew and the Citrus Springs at Venice Community in Venice, Florida with the local crew.
